I'm glad Sugita Tomokazu is voicing an otaku in this, he's a well-known otaku in the seiyuu industry so hearing his voice was a great surprise. He gave me a good laugh with that transformation scene.

It was funny how all those otaku reacted more to Yuu struggling compared to Blue, I guess only otaku would react so excitedly over a boy in a female swimsuit.

Blue was also having way too much fun being stared at, her hands were all over the place.

I'm also the kind of otaku who openly says they're into anime, I just wish I was able to find others who are as into it as I am, I'm in too deep lol.

Let's go back in time, 2nd yr high school. We've heard from a friend of a friend that a senpai of ours has La Blue Girl ep.6 and he's ok with making a copy as long as you bring your own VHS player (you need 2 units to make a copy). We've only seen ep.1 at that time. My comrades are not up to the task (pu$$ies!) so it fell on my shoulders to procure the device.

After my parents went to work, I looked for one of their Karaoke VHS tapes, saw one that they're not using in a while. Engelbert Humperdinck, you will be the sacrifice for our cause. I put the VHS player and tape in my backpack and went to school. Good, I was able to sneak in my suspiciously large bag.

After school we asked for directions how to get to senpai's house. Remember, none of us really knows this guy. We finally found it, senpai was grinning from ear to ear. "Good job boys, you've reached the Holy Grail". He set it up, and played it while making a copy... at one point her li'l sister came out of her room, we said "maybe she shouldn't be seeing this", so he sent her back to her room.

Mission Accomplished!

When I got back home, my pops was there early. He thought our house got robbed 'coz the VHS player was missing in the living room.

I think it's pretty good. I remember watching his re:zero parody a few years ago, and now I've also started watching his regular videos.

Some where kinda shallow (Like saying "Legendary Hero is Dead can't be skipped, thanks to its very good opening"), but I am glad Gigguk at least still tries to be in touch with anime and even MCU.
Even if MANY of his opinions about superheroes make me just angry.
